Page Notes: We're playing with the backgrounds a bit more with these recent pages... I'm trying to transition between setting the scenes in panels and then having a bit of fun with others. I'm following traditional themes to provide backgrounds that define settings before simplifying others and having a bit of fun. Panel layouts remain straight forward and that is another area that I'm experimenting a bit more as the act of producing the art becomes more familiar.

Today, I'm working on page 19 and am jazzed to get to page 20 because the page is that much fun. When we started pulling together Chapter One, I wanted to begin the art with that page, but forced myself to start at the beginning and work forwards. I've treated page 20 as a reward of sorts, and we're finally there...
